History
The metal gods Cries Unheard originated from Nik and Alex Todd (fatman). Nik played the guitar and alex on the drums, they started by just playing random stuff in their loft. You know, the usual, The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army”, Jet’s “Are you gona be my girl” and Metallica’s legendary “Enter Sandman”.

Nik and Umong met and soon became very close friends. They started playing songs such as SOAD’s “Toxicity” and “Chop Suey” by the same band along with fatman.

Then, Daniel Petchey was discovered and the three then became a four. They discovered such great bands as Killswitch Engage and played two of their greats, “The End of Heartache” and the awesome “Rose of Sharyn”, which Ikarus still play a great cover of today. They also started covering such songs as Slipknot’s “Before I Forget” and SOAD’s “Ariels”. After a few months of being together, like all great bands, a few ‘incidents’ occurred . Harsh words were said, pies were eaten, it was not a pretty site….

However, with the addition of Mik Warwik, the band were complete and then started writing such great songs as “Shadowed by my Broken Heart”. With the band continuously writing new material, this is surely going to be a great addition to the world of metal.
